The Thermal Break Aluminum Clad Wood Sliding Window Double Glazed Low-E Stainless Steel Hardware for Villa Balcony pairs an extruded 6063-T5 aluminium outer frame with a laminated timber inner sash, and separates the two with a 24 mm PA66GF25 thermal barrier. Aluminium takes the weather side, timber delivers the interior warmth and acoustic comfort, and the barrier stops heat from conducting straight through the assembly.

How the Aluminium Clad Wood System Is Built

Hardware, Security and Weather Sealing

Stainless steel 304 tandem rollers run on a stainless track, and the sash locks through a concealed multi-point system with mushroom-head cams. Triple EPDM gaskets sit on the frame, sash and glass rebate, while an equalised drainage channel with hidden weep holes takes wind-driven rain out of the profile instead of past the seals.

Finish Options and Project Applications

Aluminium surfaces are finished in PVDF fluorocarbon, powder coat or anodised; the timber face is delivered in natural lacquer or a matching wood grain. Integrated fibreglass insect screens come as standard, which is why the system is common on coastal villas, resort guest rooms and low-rise residential facades.
